Conclusion

As a result of the work can be said that VoIP technology is popular both in domestic and corporate sector and is one of the fastest growing technologies that could solve many problems that previously were handled only by means of telephone networks. Using this technology, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the cost of international calls several times, and in some cases call free of charge (only paid for Internet traffic). This is due to the fact that most of the way the voice signal through the Internet in digital form, thus lower cost and better quality than with analog lines.

Obstacles while using VoIP technology are absent. But the packet forwarding stage has a small disadvantage - the fact that IP technology is built so that the congestion channel packets that the router network does not have time to handle deleted. Therefore, calls to strongly loaded channels possible partial loss of sound, not critical for perception.

According to a survey conducted by Canadian research firm Ipsos, currently on average in the world VoIP-telephony using only 14% of Internet users.
